Kanohuren.nl will be renting out its canoes from April 2021. After a successful rental year of SUPs, we have decided to also rent out kayaks. Kayaking is accessible to everyone.

Start at our location right on the Singel where you can use all facilities. You can change clothes, go to the toilet and buy a drink to take the water with you. You can grab a waterproof bag and life jacket. Leave your luggage with us and start paddling. After booking you will receive a confirmation from us.
You can choose from five different kayaks. The green-yellow kayak is the sit-in canoe. This is the most standard kayak in our range. There is also a double version of this. The blue kayak in the bottom photo is the open canoe. These are more manoeuvrable and slightly slower than the standard kayak. The blue kayak has the same speed as the SUP. There is a family kayak and a children’s kayak of this variant.
An advantage of the expansion is that it is now possible to explore Utrecht from the water with the whole family or group of friends using kayaks and SUPs.

Nice sit-in kayak. Fastest vessel you can rent here.
This kayak is a sit-in kayak and is ideal for the beginners and advanced kayakers. The maximum load capacity is 180 kg and the kayak has a length of 400 cm and a width of 70 cm.

Comfortable two-person kayak with child seat
This kayak is a two-person kayak with space for one child (up to 7 years) in the middle. Suitable for anyone who wants to make a short or long trip through Utrecht or around it. This sturdy kayak has great stability on the water due to its flat bottom. The seat provides a lot of comfort due to the high backrests. (Maximum weight: 230kg)

A sit on top kayak is real manoeuvrable and easy to get on and off the water.
This 1-person sit on top canoe is 266cm long and 66cm wide. It’s equipped with different footrest positions, a soft backrest, space for luggage and a cup holder.
Note: you can get a little wet from splashing water.

This stable sit on top family kayak can be used by 2 adults + 2 children. It’s equipped with different footrest positions, 2 soft backrests, a children’s handle, space for luggage and a cup holder.

Small sit-on-top kayak for children.
The kayak has a maximum load capacity of 57 kg. This makes it suitable for children only. The kayak is 182 cm long and 61 cm wide. With this kayak you sit on top, this has various advantages such as easy boarding and more freedom of movement. It is also easy to steer with this kayak.
Can only be rented in combination with an adult.
